Times
The alley is usually available during pub opening hours, except Tuesday evenings, which are club evenings.
Numbers
In the present circumstances, although most Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted, we are limiting numbers in the alley to fourteen.
Cost
We will quote you a price when you make an enquiry. The cost compares favourably with most other forms of entertainment in London.
Food
Excellent food is available. See the menu on the Freemasons website.
Note: Arrangements for use of the alley are with the Hampstead Lawn Billiard and Skittle Club, who own the equipment, not with Mitchell and Butler, who run the pub.

Skittles Evenings

"Life isn’t all beer and skittles, but beer and skittles, or something better of the same sort, must form a good part of every Englishman’s education."
Thomas Hughes
Tom Browne’s Schooldays

We quite agree, but what could be better? Certainly, it's an excellent way to pass an evening. Whether you're organising an office bash or some other event or just want to try the game with a group of friends, you can book our skittle alley at a reasonable cost.

An experienced club player will be present to provide coaching and to help organise the evening. All you have to do is master the art of aiming a 10lb discus-like piece of wood at some skittles 21 feet away and drink a lot of beer*. Perfect!

Contact us now to find out whether your preferred date is available.

* Beer optional.
